Catalena Throwing Hat Into Political Ring For Brazos County Commissioner Seat

Local rancher, businessman and Brazos County native, Sammy Catalena , has announced his intentions to run for Brazos Country Commissioner Pct 2, a position currently held by Duane Peters.

Catalena is a Texas A&M graduate, rancher and businessman. A Vietnam veteran, Catelena has been married to his wife Carolyn for 38 years and has raised three sons in Brazos County. Catalena is also the operator of The Sammy Catalena Rodeo Company.

“I’ve experienced both sides of the fence as a businessman for over 30 years and a community servant for that same time period. I am anxious to serve the people of Precinct 2 as well as lead with my ability to communicate and articulate a realistic, positive and balanced vision for the future of Brazos County. I look forward to being your candidate for Brazos County Commissioner Precinct 2’
