The Hispanic Forum of Bryan-College Station announces the 2010 General Political Forum to be held at the Best Western Atrea at Old Town Center, 1920 Austin's Colony Pkwy. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, 6:30pm—9:00pm.
The HF’s Political Forum is a non-partisan, general forum open to all candidates of the 2010 elections. It provides an opportunity for candidates to meet their constituents, with an emphasis on the Hispanic
voters of B/CS, and allows an introductory explanation of platform, issues and a moderated, brief question and answer session. For increased exposure to the Hispanic constituency, the HF Political Forum will be simulcast in Spanish.
Between candidate presentations, the Hispanic Forum will host a fast-paced cake auction. All proceeds will benefit the Hispanic Forum Scholarship fund which provides scholarships to deserving local students.
