There is no clear winner in the race for Brazos County judge. Duane Peters and Mark Conlee will face a runoff election April 13.

Peters, a Brazos County Commissioner, received 46 percent of the vote, with Conlee, the mayor of Bryan, getting 31 percent.

Ernie Wentrcek, the former mayor of Bryan, took in 18 percent of the vote. Economic consultant Brian Alg won five percent.

The winner of the Republican runoff faces no Democratic opponent, though an independent, Doug O'Brien, awaits the winner.

Current judge Randy Sims decided not to run for re-election.
