Brazos Valley This Morning hosted the Bryan mayoral candidates for a forum Tuesday.  The entire event can be viewed by clicking here.

Thursday on BVTM, the College Station candidates will be live in studio to discuss their takes on the issues.

Through two days of early voting in the Twin Cities, less than one percent of each city's registered voters have turned out.

In Bryan, 322 voters have cast ballots at the Municipal Building during the early voting period, which runs until Tuesday. That's 0.9 percent of the 35,575 registered voters.

Last night during the city council meeting, City Manager David Watkins noted the low turnout, asking Bryan's voters to make it to the polls to decide a number of key races.

Four seats on the Bryan city council will be decided this election cycle, including the mayor. One school board race is also being contested.

The highest elected office in College Station is also up for grabs, along with another council seat. In that city, 354 of the city's 38,587 registered voters have cast ballots at City Hall and the school district's administration building in the first two days of early voting, also 0.9 percent.

Election Day is Saturday, May 8.
