Early voting ended Friday at 8 p.m., and turnout has been steady at Brazos County locations, according to election officials
.
The total of early votes cast in Brazos County was over 18,000.
Two years ago in a presidential election year, 34,593 people turned out early in Brazos County, which was about a third of all registered voters.
This year's turnout has been bigger so far than the last non-presidential general election, when 12,220 people voted early in 2006.
In Brazos County, registered voters can go to any of these five locations to vote early:
- Arena Hall
- Brazos County Administration Building
- College Station Utilities Meeting and Training Facility
- Galilee Baptist Church
- Texas A&M Memorial Student Center
On Tuesday, voters must go to their assigned precinct.
