If you thought voter turnout on the first day of early voting was strong, Day Two was even better in Brazos County.
As we've told you, 1,618 voters cast their ballots on Monday. Tuesday, 1,666 voters headed to the polls.
County election officials say it's not common to see the second day turnout bigger than the first.
Officials also say Monday's totals were on par with first day numbers in 2008. Presidential election years like that one generally draw more people to the polls.
Early voting runs through October 29. In Brazos County, you can vote at Arena Hall, the Brazos County Administration Building, College Station Utilities' Meeting and Training Facility, Galilee Baptist Church and the Memorial Student Center on the Texas A&M campus.
Election Day is November 2.
