BRENHAM, WASHINGTON COUNTY The Blinn College Alumni & Friends Association will host its annual Spring 3-person scramble April 11 at Brenham Country Club.
Entry is $255 per team, with proceeds benefitting Alumni & Friends’ mission to maintain contact with former Blinn students, encourage support and participation in College’s cultural, athletic and social programs, and assist the College in achieving its goals and objectives. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
Participants receive a round of golf, including cart and range balls, a light lunch and on-course refreshments, an optional skins game and prizes for the top three teams according to net score. The first-place team wins $750 per player, with $450 going to the players on the second-place team and $300 going to the players on the third-place team.

Blinn enrolled 18,413 students this Fall and has experienced 31.1 percent growth since 2006. Founded in 1883, the College’s tuition and fees average about one-third the cost of the same classes at most four-year public universities in the state. In addition to its campuses in Brenham, Bryan, Schulenburg and Sealy, the College teaches online courses, dual credit for high school and prepares students for quick employment through its career and technical certification programs.
