The Blinn College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is accepting registration for a one-day QuickBooks course that helps non-profit organizations organize their finances.
The a hands-on, basic QuickBooks workshop will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. March 21 at the Bullock Building, located at the corner of College Ave. and Prairie Lea St. Instructor Brooke Garcia will describe how non-profits can use the accounting software to chart accounts, track donors and vendors, monitor accounts payable and receivable, budget, create financial reports and reconcile their bank and credit card accounts. The cost is $100 per person. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.

The SBDC at Blinn College is a business consulting and training center that is part of the University of Houston Small Business Development Center Network, which serves 32 counties in Southeast Texas. The center provides free one-on-one consulting and low-cost training seminars.
