BRENHAM Registration for Blinn College’s Fall semester may be closed, but registration is still available for fast-track courses that allow students to earn a full semester’s credit in just eight or 12 weeks.
Blinn’s eight- and 12-week terms offer students greater flexibility in scheduling their classes and allow them to earn college credit in a shorter time frame than the traditional 16-week semester.
Registration for the 12-week term beginning Sept. 23 is available through Sept. 22.
During the 12-week term offered on the College’s Brenham campus, students can enroll in the following courses: Biology for Science Majors, Biology for Non-Science Majors, Fundamentals of Academic Literacy, Integrated Read/Write, Learning Framework, Composition I and II, Technical and Business Writing, Survey of American Literature I, American Government, U.S. History I, Introductory Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Intro to Philosophy, Intro to Ethics, Reading, Intro to Sociology, Public Speaking and Strategies for College Success. Students can also take U.S. History I, Texas History and American Government online.
Students can register through Oct. 16 for the third eight-week term that begins Oct. 17.
On the Brenham campus, students can enroll in: Composition II, Texas Government, U.S. History II, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra and Strategies for College Success.
The Bryan campus is offering: Digital Video, Business Computer Applications, Principals of Economics (Macro), Texas Government, U.S. History II, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Plane Trigonometry, Math for Business and Social Science I, Math Analysis II, Calculus II and Special Topics Nurse Assistant/Aide.
On the Sealy campus, students can enroll in: Art Appreciation, Composition II, U.S. History II, College Algebra, General Psychology and Public Speaking.
The following eight-week courses are available online: Digital Imaging, Introduction to Database, Contract Forms and Addenda, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Investments, Property Management and Law of Agency.

Blinn enrolled 17,989 students last Fall and has experienced 28.3 percent growth since 2006.
