Slowly, but surely, I'm making my way into this century.  This is my first blog... not just on KBTX.com, but EVER!  Yes, there's probably something wrong with me that I haven't jumped into this before now.  Perhaps I'm just not 'with-it.'  Chances are good that the fact that I used the term 'with-it' shows just how without-it I am! 

So, I'm curious... what is the appeal of a blog?  Mind you, as I'm dragging my heels getting into this, I know chances are good I'll soon be hooked and will be checking the blog so often my family will think I've lost my mind.  Not that they don't tend to think that already.  This will just give them proof.  And, I'll probably be crushed if no one responds... and thrilled if you do.  It'll be one of those Sally Field moments... "You like me!  You really like me!!!"

So, let's get started on this blogging thing.  Let me know if there are any topics you'd like to see discussed here in the future, but be kind.  We're keeping this family appropriate.  And, don't get your feelings hurt if your topic isn't chosen.  Until I get into the swing of things, there may be things I'm uncomfortable sharing.  

Who knows... before it's all over I may drag some of you right into this century with me!
