I apologize that my blog is so outdated…I have been preoccupied with my newest job as mom.

On June 17, my husband, Brent, and I were blessed by the birth of our first child, William Roy. Will weighed 8 pounds and was 19 ¾ inches long. I know every new parent says the same thing, but he was absolutely perfect. Other than being a little sleep deprived, we are all doing great! Will is such a joy and is developing quite the personality. I love the faces he makes, his coos, smiles and laughs.

To add to our family's blessings - my sister, Tanya and her husband, David, had their first child the same day that Will was born! Trey and Will were born 4 1/2 hours a part. Fortunately, my mom was able to see both her grandsons born, even though one was in Bryan and the other was in Houston. The boys met for the first time over the July 4th weekend.
