Many of you may be stressing about what to get your loved one for Valentine's Day. You may be even more stressed because money is tight. But fear no more, here are some ideas that won't break the bank.

Many of you may be stressing about what to get your loved one for Valentine's Day. You may be even more stressed because money is tight. But fear no more, here are some ideas that won't break the bank.

I'll be honest, every girl likes flowers--especially this one. But, not every girl likes the huge three dozen rose bouquet that won't last longer than a week. Try leaving a single rose on your significant other's car on your way to work. This takes thought and effort--we like that. Also send carnations or another inexpensive flower instead of roses--they are beautiful too and you won't have to dish out a lot of money.

Also, the thoughtful gifts are also a great idea! I'll brag on Shane--on our first Valentine's Day he made a CD of love songs then took me to the lake where we danced under the stars. How romantic! Plus, it didn't cost him a lot either! I honestly remember this Valentine's Day more than others, when he bought me something. It truly is the thought that counts!!

If you're thinking about taking your significant other out for dinner...wake up early on Thursday. KBTX offers Half Price Thursday, where you can get restaurant gift certificates for half the price. It's a great deal.

A few other ideas, you can also cook dinner, instead of going out! Make a homemade card--it's sweet! Also, give your loved ones coupons...you can offer to do the dishes one night or other household chores. What girl or guy doesn't like a break from cleaning!
