Well after a few days of working out, my body is screaming at me. The good news is, I'm already feeling better! Its amazing how physical activity can really get the blood flowing! It makes you feel so much more alert and for that matter it has definitely given me more energy! I hope you guys can tell during the morning sportscast!
So far I've stuck to the nutrition guideline like a mad man. No bread, no fast food, nothing really bad for me. It's been tough but all I have to think about is the number 297 and it's no problem to stay on track. Yesterday was tough though because I was north of town, getting some video of the Campbell Creek Bridge on Highway 6. It was about 11:00 in the morning and I had already had my morning breakfast and snack. BUT I was starving! I texted my trainer Trevor because I'm not sure what all I'm allowed to eat on the road and he let me know that I could have Subway six inch low fat sub with 2 glasses of water. What a relief! My first bread product in almost a week!
When I got to Subway, I started to think what I wanted on my sandwich. Never have I put so much thought into what goes into a sandwich! I ended up sticking with my regular toppings; No cheese, spicy mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, LOTS of jalapeños, and a dash of oil and vinegar. Man, did it hit the spot!
After that I was back to cherry tomatoes and chicken, in fact here's what I ate on Tuesday for example.
Breakfast 4:30 a.m. - Banana & one spoonful of Peanut Butter
Snack 8:00 a.m. - 10 Cherry Tomatoes
Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 6 Inch Subway
Snack 4:30 - 100 Calorie Yogurt
Dinner 6:45 - Baked Chicken with 1 cup of Green Beans
So there ya have it, my most tasty day yet! But now it's back to the gym to burn off more because next week on Wednesday, we'll have the first weigh in!
Wish me luck!
