Less Than Two Weeks Till The Wedding!

I've officially been fitted for a tux!

So the clock is ticking louder than the beating heart in Edgar Alan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart".  In fact my heart has been pounding that hard the last few weeks as we try to get the final 5 pounds off before the wedding.

My goal at the start of Shaping Up With Shane was to lose 20 pounds in time for the wedding.  So far, things are looking good!  I've lost a total of 15 pounds and we have another Weigh In Wednesday right around the corner.  Hopefully we can knock off the final 5 pounds in the next two weeks and if we try really hard, who knows, maybe we can hit the 25 pound mark!

The boot camp went great this morning on BVTM.  I want to give a big thanks to all the folks who moved their boot camp from Anytime Fitness to the KBTX parking lot.  It was incredible to watch everybody push Trevor's truck back and forth.  Now anytime I run out of gas, I'll know who to call to get a push!

No problems with Valentine's Day over the weekend.  Meredith didn't get me anything to tempt me, so I didn't have one piece of chocolate or any of my favorite candy in the whole world, Reese's Pieces.  I know I'll be enjoying some wedding cake before I know it, so it wasn't too tough.

Speaking of the wedding, I got fitted for my tux!  I'm into a size 48 suit!  That's incredible, because that last time I purchased a size 48 was in back in 2005.  It's amazing just how much watching the sizes drop can motivate a person to stay in shape.

The big question this week, will I finally hit the 270's?  I'm hoping so, but we'll know for sure on Weigh In Wednesday.  Be sure to tune into BVTM to see the results.

Till then.....
