Not looking for bad luck in the weather department this Friday the 13th...however, as we head into the weekend , expect those fall afternoons we've been finding ourselves with lately to disappear for a couple of days.
The high pressure system responsible for keeping north winds and sunny skies on tap, this past week, has slid off to the east kicking back in southerly flow from The Gulf. Now much won't change much for your Friday afternoon...other than up-ing temperatures a degree or two this afternoon. However, tonight lows will be in the humid 60s and then Saturday comes through with a little more cloud cover and humid, low 80s for highs.
By Sunday, mostly cloudy conditions will be on hand with a slight chance (20%) of a few showers, possibly even an isolated thunderstorm or two, streaming in from the south.
The light at the end of the tunnel, you ask? Our next cold front dives into the area late Sunday into early Monday, bringing up rain chances (50%). That being said, we'll shoot for mid-to-upper 60s as highs Monday....but those highs will be found in the morning hours! By Monday afternoon, it looks like enough cool air will slide in behind the front and rain that by days end, temperatures should be be down into the 50s for your drive home!
Stick around...we'll be hammering out the details over the next few days. But, more importantly, have a great weekend!
