All in all the weather was "beautiful" this past weekend, with much needed rain falling across the Brazos Valley.  Some cashed in big time, while others picked up just over an inch of rain.  Either way, rain on Saturday...cool and cloudy on Sunday -- you're hard pressed to find many folks that didn't enjoy the tail end to September.

October is Here -- and Cool Weather Will Follow

'Great to have the first day of October feel almost exactly as it should.  In fact, we are actually looking for afternoon highs to be a few degrees shy of the "normal" high of 86° this afternoon (forecast high today is 84°).

Climate data for the month of October is below.  Coldest temperature recorded in October: 29°!

Enjoy this taste of Fall -- we'll be closer to 90° again by Wednesday.  No worries...another front is slated to move in by the middle of this upcoming weekend, which will knock temperatures back down to where they are supposed to be for this time of the year.
