If you joined us on the regular Wednesday Evening Weather Blog yesterday, or caught any of the forecasts on-air / online / on your favorite social media platform, you're in the know that a cold front will be working towards the Brazos Valley...but with struggles because of a stubborn area of high pressure.
Haven't had a chance to tune in? Well...you're all caught up!
There is still some question on how close that cold front will make it to the area, if it will make it into the Brazos Valley before stalling out (which would bring a much better chance of rain) or if it will stop too far to the north.
We've been pouring over our "computer models' for several days...and will continue to do so as we get closer to your weekend forecast.
I thought this would be a good time to share some of the solutions that are coming out of the different model runs. What you'll see below are loops of different computer model's thoughts on what the radar could possibly look like between Friday afternoon / evening through 12am Sunday.
We'll continue to bring you the latest on any and all of the above mentioned platforms. Until then -- happy model surfing!
