We could see some of the warmest temperatures thus far Friday afternoon, with highs expected to reach into the mid to upper 90s. The winds will provide some slight relief, blowing at 10-15 mph, but the air that will continue to be blown in may be our biggest problem. Humid air from the Gulf of Mexico will produce heat index values that may top 100 degrees in a lot of locations.
High temperatures will remain in the lower 90s over the Memorial Day weekend, but cool a degree or two each day. Remember to drink plenty of water if you plan on spending a lot of time at the BBQ's this weekend!
