Summer officially begins Sunday, June 21, but you would think it were already here with the hot temperatures over the past few weeks.
We have gone 25 days without measurable rain
in Bryan/College Station, although we did pick up a trace of precipitation on June 3 and June 11. The forecast remains essentially the same over the next seven days -- hot and dry
-- which will spell worsening drought conditions across all of the Brazos Valley. On another note:
we've seen 29 ninety-degree days in Bryan/College Station this year (through June 18).
Our first day at 90 was April 22. Last year, we saw 32 ninety-degree days through the same time period. However, in 2008 the first day at 90 wasn't until May 9.
Have a great weekend!
