Drought conditions remain generally unchanged across the Brazos Valley as we start September. August did bring some much needed rain across the region (and state) which has resulted in slightly better conditions along I 45.52.4%
of Texas is under a drought, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. That's obviously not good, but on the flip side almost half the state is drought-free! The worst conditions still exists across south central and south Texas, which represents the 18.8%
of the state currently under an exceptional drought.Bryan/College Station is under a severe drought
with conditions generally getting worse the further west you go.
The September weather outlook calls for a normal amount of precipitation and average temperatures across the Brazos Valley.
