Theater Stabbing Hearing

Texas A&M Galveston is battling over who should be held liable for an accidental stabbing during a "Dracula" play nearly 10 years ago.

The Texas Supreme Court heard arguments in the case on September 28 in Austin.

Stabbing victim Paul Bishop claims the play's directors were school employees and, therefore, the university should be liable.

Yet, the university says the directors were volunteers and, under the Texas Tort Claims Act, it isn't responsible.

A decision is expected in about six months.
