The outside world seems so far away from the Prince's Bedias home. Cindy Prince and her family have always found peace and serenity here. And everything else for that matter. The family's needs have always been met here. But in March of this year Cindy's family changed and so did their needs.

"Of course as a mother I'm concerend" Cindy told us. Feelings any mom would have with all 5 of her children joining the Army. She says it's a Calling, from the highest commander. "One of my son's battle buddies asked why did you join the army and he said because I was commaned to".

For all of their adulthood and much of their lives, this was everything the Prince kids knew. All were educated here..academically and vocationally. Home schooling to the next level; from foreign languages to agriculture to auto repair. These are skills 33-year old Joshu, 32 year old George, 31-year old Fred, 30- year old Adeline and 28 year old Andrew have taken with them to the military.

"It's just an amazing amount of knowldedge they've been raised in/ Everything built here is built by us. They learned elctrical, the resevoir was built by, everything was built by us."

An amazing education, by any standard, but still lacking, even by Cindy's own admission. "These children were raised seperatate from society/ Basically they needed to go out and see that they could take what they learned here and be stable."

The Prince Siblings started basic training in March.
Cindy says some of what her kids have seen and heard during training have been somewhat of a culture shock, but other than that, she says they are adjusting normally.
