In Bryan, incumbent Single Member District 3 Council Member Jason Bienski won reelection by an overwhelming 82% to 18% margin.

Bienski said he'll continue the work he'd already started.

"I want to continue improving the aging infrastructure in the city of Bryan. I want to continue with creating a positive image in the city of Bryan, I want to continue with the growth and development in the city of Bryan, and work on neighborhood aspects and making our community a wonderful place to raise a family and retire," said Bienski.

Jay. Bryan has Police shootings and shots fired all the time it is Normal now. I can think of 4 Police shooting in Bryan in 11yrs and 1 in CS. I just can not understand all the shooting at night on the west side. The bullets must be hitting something. Keep you head down. The Police are over worked and to few. I hope the new chief makes it past 2yrs.

What's sad, Jay, is that it's getting that way out in the country too. Man, there's nowhere left to go.

Work on this. Drive at night and with the police at night, you may get to witness a shooting. Found out why the PD is posting for people to stop shooting guns in the city, about a year ago. Do something about it. I know I am Getting feed up with the gun shots at night and some now in the day. I can think of 6 or 7 BUS and homes with gun shoots in the last 8yrs Some of us are getting to old to hit the floor in the house very fast. If you need to feel safe go to the downtown fire dept. Sat. night and pull a chair outside and hear the gun fire.

Then start by having the city code enforcement dept. do their job and clean this town up! ! Quit focusing on Downtown Bryan. ENOUGH ALREADY. Other parts of Bryan, are DECAYING. Right across the street from Bryan High School on Barak is an apartment complex that symbolizes Bryan. COUNCIL MEMBERS, GET OFF YOUR BUTTS AND DRIVE AROUND THIS TOWN. WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS?
