It's not only adults looking for ways to go green, some local first graders are as well.

Students at Milam Elementary got their hands a little bit dirty Thursday afternoon to showcase the theme "The Dream Team Goes Green."

The first graders got the opportunity to plant tomato seeds, paint a mural, play a recycling game, and even make endangered animal bracelets.

Each child also took a recycling project for the year, and Thursday presented it to their parents and peers to explain how they went green.
