The Normangee State Bank Board of Directors has promoted C. Jack Hunter to bank president. Hunter succeeds Joel Shaw who will remain as Chief Executive Officer.

"C. Jack is involved with all aspects of the bank and his particular area of expertise is technology and compliance," said Shaw. "He is a great asset to the Normangee State Bank and we feel very fortunate that he is working here."

Hunter joined Normangee State Bank in September, 2003. Before that, he served as the County Extension Agent for Brazos and Madison Counties.
