The roads will be more congested and restaurants packed this weekend as thousands of parents flock to Aggieland for Parents' Weekend.
In Old Army Days, Parents Weekend originated as a time for moms to visit their sons.
The tradition has evolved into a weekend long event for the entire family.
There are lots of events going on this weekend.
Here's a list of some of the events:
Late Friday night, join in and celebrate one of A&M's most treasured traditions at Kyle Field for a special Midnight Yell.
Saturday Morning everyone is encouraged to stop by Reed Arena for the Aggie Mom's Boutique.
11:00am - 2:00pm - Bring the family out for food and fun at the annual Bevo Burn BBQ. Tickets are $7.
11:30am - Parsons Mounted Cavalry Review, "The Green"(on HWY 2818).
2:00pm - Show your support at the Aggie Football Maroon and White Game in Kyle Field. Students with student ID are free. Children 12 and under are free, all other tickets are $5 at the gate.
7:30pm - Singing Cadets concert in Rudder Auditorium. The Parents' Weekend committee will be presenting an exciting live auction during the intermission.
9:30am - The All-University Awards Ceremony in Rudder Auditorium. Admission is free, and a reception will follow in Rudder Exhibit Hall.
12:30pm - Ross Volunteer Performance, Kyle Field
1:30pm - Fish Drill Team Performance, Kyle Field
3:00pm - Corps Review & Unit Awards, Kyle Field
