Four people are displaced after an early morning fire damages a duplex in College Station.

Firefighters responded around 3 this morning to the 14-hundred block of Hillside Drive.
Fire could be seen through the roof.
The heavy fire damaged one side of the duplex but a fire wall kept the flames from spreading to the other side.
All occupants and pets made it safely out, but a firefighter did receive second degree burns.
He was treated and is now back on duty.

Officials say the fire appears to have started in a bedroom, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
The Red Cross is helping the displaced residents.
