From possible v-p candidate to featured speaker at the democratic national convention, it has been a busy week for central texas congressman chet edwards.

Last night...edwards took center-stage using his time...to press the party for support for veterans and supporting Obama.

The congressman said "In the last two years, Senator Obama helped pass the new G.I. education bill and voted for the budget that provided the largest increase in veterans' health care funding in the 77 year history of the Veterans Administration."

Edwards, as you may recall, endorsed senator obama for president earlier this year.
When asked about a cabinet position if Obama is elected, Edwards says he is not interested in that... at least right now.

Chet Edwards is a liar and a liberal just try to talk to him on the phone about issues or even mail a letter and you will get nothing but a form letter back with evasive non-answers

I won’t tell my fellow Veterans how to vote, but if they want to make an informed decision, here are the links to each candidate’s voting records on Project Vote Smart. If it doesn't take you directly to Veterans Issues, go to “Pick an Issue”, select Veterans Issues and click Go. Then get out there and vote your conscience on Nov. 4th. Will he be standing on the Roman podium with the emperor Ceaser Obama tonight? Or will he be in the more modern setting of Nuernberg Germany? Talking to the potential new Furr. If it doesn't work out at least they had the same celebrity stage hands build their stage as the ones that builds Britney Spears stages. Hail Ceaser Obama. HAEL furr Obama. Who is Obama?
