It was a morning of terror Thursday for a female victim of rape. College Station police say a woman was abducted at gunpoint in the 100 block of Luther Street shortly after 6:30 a.m.

The victim says the suspect then drove her to a location where she was sexually assaulted over several hours. She also says she knows the suspect.

The victim's identity and age are being withheld.

Ok, did the police catch the guy or not? If the girl knew him, it shouldn't be that hard to find him. The rest of the story, please KBTX

Hey anonymous in college station @ 9:23pm. For your information it has happened to me but I chose to stay here where my family and friends could give me the support I needed to get through that awful time in my life. So rather than sit and complain DO SOMETHING like volunteer at the Rape Crisis Center or run for pubic office and change what you don't like about our city.

Ladies, if you do not have a concealed handgun license you should seriously consider getting one. Just about any sporting goods store can point you in the direction of a good instructor. Any man that would force himself on a woman automatically forfeits his right to breathe in my book.

Kay, We didn't have much of a problem before all this "growth" everyone talks about. Growth, growth, growth. Pull the string of a city council will parot that. Then they say we have to solve the "problems" of traffic and crime with inevitably follows this unhealthy, corporatized, "growth" fueled by illegal aliens and other never-do-wells. Why don't people stop and realize growth doesn't equal quality of life and usually means the opposite. If growth meant quality of life then why don't we live in a big city where these events are more common. But growth growth growth means now they can fool you in to crying for more cops. Ever notice that large cities have tons of cops and tons of crime. Cops do very little to deter crime.

I wonder how many more crimes like this have to go down before the city decides to allow the police department more money to hire more officers???
