CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Jury selection has been delayed
until Monday afternoon in the case of three former Corpus Christi
State School employees.

The former workers at the state center for mentally disabled
Texans are accused of organizing fights among their wards for the
staff's entertainment.

State District Judge Sandra Watts is hearing arguments in Corpus
Christi on a motion filed for Timothy Dixon. He allegedly
video-recorded the fights on a cell phone that was turned over to
police. His attorney, Ira Miller, contends the phone was stolen and
police should have obtained a search warrant before examining the
videos.

Watts also approved immunity for former State School employee
Stephanie Garza to testify for the prosecution. Prosecutors have
gotten a stay of a lesser charge she faced for not stopping the
fight.
