Longtime Blinn Leader Announces Retirement
The man who oversaw the biggest growth in Blinn College history is calling it a career.

The man who oversaw the biggest growth in Blinn College history is calling it a career.
Blinn Chancellor Don Voelter announced Monday he will retire in December. Prior to becoming chancellor, Voelter served as Blinn president for 14 years from 1994-2008.
Under his leadership, Blinn grew from 9,000 students to an enrollment of more than 15,000, due largely to the creation of its new
Bryan campus in 1997.
Voelter was also instrumental in developing the college's certification programs for emergency medical technicians, dental hygienists, and physical therapy assistants.
