Cars could soon be flying around the track at a Brazos County racing venue. An appeals court has overturned a decision that closed down Hot Rod Hill in 2005.
That's when a neighbor of track owner Wayne Brown sued him claiming noise from the venue was a nuisance. A Brazos County jury agreed and all racing was stopped.
Brown appealed and Wednesday, the 10th Court of Appeals in Waco ruled in his favor. The court stated the person who sued no longer lives near Hot Rod Hill, so the track can no longer be considered a nuisance.
Brown's attorney Robert Swearingen says he expects the track to reopen in the nearby future.

Gosh, Chris, I guess you weren't aware of that mysterious Sunday morning fire at Hot Rod Hill after the Bonfire that wouldn't burn.
