As an upper-level weather maker swings into Texas, numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to remain scattered across the Brazos Valley. A few storms could be strong -- with heavy rain, thunder, & occasional lightning -- however, this activity is not expected to become severe. Rain chance will remain in place through mid-morning to midday Friday.
Texas A&M's basketball teams are in action the next two nights, and the prices for tickets are low.
The Aggie women play Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Reed Arena as they host Texas Tech, a team coming off an upset of then-#1 Baylor.
A&M is one game out of first place in the Big 12, with only the Bears ahead of them.
Two kids can get in free for the purchase of an adult ticket, which runs for as low as $3. It's also Noche Latina at Reed as Hispanic heritage is celebrated.
Then on Wednesday, KBTX and Old Army Spirit present Family Night at Reed as the A&M men take on Oklahoma. All tickets are half price, which means you can attend for as low as $5.
The men's team is currently in third place in the conference behind just Texas and Kansas.
The Aggie women are ranked fifth in both polls. The men are 17th in the ESPN/USA TODAY poll and 21st in the Associated Press poll.
