A College Station man is in jail after allegedly taking an electric meter off one apartment and putting it on his own.

20-year-old Harvey Earl Manning told College Station cops that he stole the meter off another apartment at Parkway Circle Apartments. Officers were called out to the apartment complex after a College Station Utilities worker noticed the meter missing.

Manning told police that he did it to get his power back.

This isn't the first time utility workers have been to Manning's apartment.
CSU was called out early in the day for the same problem. Manning was arrested for Criminal Mischief tampering with Electrical power supply.
