While crews are preparing for the final Space Shuttle Endeavor launch in Florida, crews in Bryan-College Station are preparing for their own campaign launch.
For more information about the campaign to bring a Space Shuttle to the Brazos Valley, visit the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History's campaign website.
The Brazos Valley Natural History Museum is one of 22 organizations and cities vying to be the home of one of the retired space shuttles. Space Center Houston, NASA'S visitor center, is the only other place in Texas asking for a shuttle.
Right now, The Brazos Valley Natural History Museum is working with an architecture class at Texas A&M on a design proposal for the museum.
"Just to bring the shuttle here would be an honor," says Deborah Cowman, Executive Director of the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History.
If you want to help out the campaign to bring the shuttle here, you can write a letter to congress or President Obama.
NASA picks the new homes for the shuttle fleet on April 12th.
