88 Bistro (E Star) has been reopened. Their permit was reinstated following a second re-inspection this afternoon.
UPDATE: The restaurant will not re-open until at least Monday after failing a re-inspection.
A College Station eatery is closed down once again for not maintaining a clean eating environment.
According to the Brazos County Health Department, E-Star Cafe, also known as 88 Bistro, on University Drive was closed after getting a score below 70. Their score was 65.
Violations include dirty or broken cooking utensils, rotten avocados and molded strawberries, and food being stored at incorrect temperatures.
This is the second time this year the restaurant was closed down.
Back in May, it scored a 62.
The restaurant will now remained closed for a mandatory 72 hours.
