More Residential Development For Downtown Bryan

There was a big groundbreaking in downtown Bryan this morning for the BCS Modern Living development.

On Main Street, construction is underway on lofts. A few blocks away at the corner of 24th and Houston will be new town homes.

It's the first major residential development in the Downtown area in more than 25 years.

"I think it is so exciting to have new infield projects where there haven’t been houses for a while, but to have people living and working in downtown and to be feeding into downtown,” said Greta Watkins, a College Station resident who works in downtown Bryan.
