BRYAN, Texas The biggest movie screen in the Brazos Valley is almost ready for the public to see.
Sunday afternoon a crew unloaded, hoisted and put in place the giant IMAX screen at the Aggieland Premiere Cinema in Bryan.
The five story high screen has nearly 3,000 square feet of area.
It's 70 feet long and 40 feet high.
This will be the only IMAX Movie Theater between Austin, Dallas and Houston.
"It's definitely been a great experience. It has certainly been a learning process to say the least … but everything came together," said Matt Guy, Marketing Director for Aggieland Premiere Cinema 16.
On Friday the first movie called, "The Mortal Instruments" will be shown, with the grand opening on September 6th.
Tickets for shows at the IMAX will be $12.75 for adults and $10.75 for children and seniors.
The student discount of $10.75 will be available Wednesday nights.
