Robertson County Release Sex Offenders List

On November 6, agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, with the help of the Texas Highway Patrol, conducted a sex offender address compliance check of known sex offenders believed to be living in Robertson and Brazos county.

On November 6, agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, with the help of the Texas Highway Patrol, conducted a sex offender address compliance check of known sex offenders believed to be living in Robertson and Brazos county. As a result, five offenders were discovered to be out of compliance. Warrants were issued for those five offenders.

Three have been arrested as of November 20. Those include:

Marcus Demar Whatley
Charged with Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements (2nd Degree Felony)

Eddie Wendell Green
Charged with Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements (2nd Degree Felony)

Jimmy Mach Hare
Charged with Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements (3rd Degree Felony)

Felony warrants were issued and are still outstanding for the remaining two offenders:

Joseph Demond Smith
Wanted for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements (State Jail Felony), Probation Violation, and Indecency with a Child by Exposure.

Paul Dewayne Barnett
Wanted for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements (3rd Degree Felony)

Joseph Smith is believed to be residing in Brazos County, while Paul Barnett is believed to be residing in Robertson County.
