MONTGOMERY, Texas A Houston-area house fire has left one person dead inside the home and a firefighter suffering heat-related ailments.
The Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office says firefighters on Sunday discovered the body during a search of the burned residence in Montgomery. The name of the person who died and further details on the suspected cause of the blaze weren't immediately released.
KTRK-TV reports one firefighter was transported to a hospital in Conroe for treatment of heat exhaustion and related medical problems. His name and further details weren't immediately available.
The fire happened at a home near Lake Conroe.
