As an upper-level weather maker swings into Texas, numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to remain scattered across the Brazos Valley. A few storms could be strong -- with heavy rain, thunder, & occasional lightning -- however, this activity is not expected to become severe. Rain chance will remain in place through mid-morning to midday Friday.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas The Special Olympics team, Texas Unified Flag Football was honored tonight at the Central Baptist Church in College Station.
The team recently traveled to New Jersey to compete in the 2014 Special Olympics U-S-A games.
The team went undefeated until their final game and came back to the Brazos Valley with silver medals.
The celebration was hosted by the Aggie Special Olympics Volunteers, the Brazos Valley Booster Club and the Central Baptist Church.
Congratulations to all of those participants.
