With football season about to kickoff in College Station, the hottest selling items in town come in maroon.
"Everyone is just at a fever pitch this week,' said Dallas Shipp with Aggieland Outfitters.
Over at Aggieland Outfitters, you'll find T-shirts that deal with every Aggie subject matter you can think of. The old favorites are still here but as SEC play begins, Aggieland outfitters understands that it takes the top dog to be the boss of T-shirt sales. You see, they make you fall hook, line, and sinker for clothing that helps you gear up for glory. You can't explain it, it's just something that happens to make them a few bucks.
"We try to always have the timely shirts that people always want," said Shipp.
That's why ESPN College Gameday shirts are now available for purchase. With the popular pregame show coming to Kyle Field for the first time since 2006 fans are freaking out to show their fan support.
"When ESPN Game Day was talking about coming to town, we knew this would be a shirt people would want," said Shipp.
The shirt comes in three different designs including one with ESPN analyst Lee Corso on the front and center. Even with a mug like that, it doesn't stop Aggies from purchasing a popular item thanks to that all important color, maroon.
"I think people are just really, really excited to finally get this season underway," said Shipp.
So don't come and take it, come and buy it. It's not everyday ESPN College Gameday comes to Aggieland.
