Who Did Brazos Valley Voters Pick in Presidential Primaries?

Much like throughout the state, Senator John McCain swept Brazos Valley counties on Tuesday's primary.

On the other side of the aisle, Senator Hillary Clinton took six of nine counties in the region, but her Senate counterpart, Barack Obama, won three counties.

Obama has polled strong with younger voters. Wins in Brazos, Washington and Walker counties could be traced to the student bodies of Texas A&M, Blinn and Sam Houston State.

The following are the numbers from the Texas Secretary of State's office showing the voting results for nine local counties when it comes to the presidential primaries. The "Total" amount includes all votes, not just those of the candidates listed.
