Bryan police are looking for a man believed to have abducted a 10 yr. old boy. The incident happened Wednesday evening at the Wood Trail Apartment complex.
The boy told police he was headed home from a friend's house when he was approached by a black man, "that called him over to him and when he refused the black male ran at him and subsequently took him off into a grassy area behind the Wood Trail Apartments," said detective Lance Mathews. "He doesn't remember much after that because he thinks he was thrown down on the ground and maybe hurt his head a little."
The boys told police the 10 yr. old was duct taped, and that the man ran into the woods after a friend arrived.
The Bryan Police Criminal Investigations Department is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Bryan Police at 209-5301.
