Brenham, TX – Host families are needed for 25 more Up with People international students who will be arriving in Brenham, Monday, March 17, 2008. Host families can volunteer to take one or more students into their homes for the week long stay (March 17th – 24th). As a thank you, each host family will receive two complimentary tickets to the Up with People Show.
“When you become a host family for an Up with People student, you bring the world into your home,” said Jessica Trabert, Tour Coordinator for Up with People. “These students bring their life and enthusiasm, culture and stories into your home. The requirements are minimal for hosting, but the rewards are incredible.”
“I have met so many wonderful people during my time in Up with People,” said Linn Schulz from Sweden, current Up with People student and advance team member. “By the time my semester is over I will have families all over the world. It’s amazing how close you become in such a short amount of time.”
