Wicked weather ripped through Hearne Tuesday night, but the damage wasn't as bad as officials first thought.
News 3 was there just minutes after dangerous winds blew the roof off of one house on Colorado Street.
The American Red Cross says the family ended up not needing help because there was no damage inside the home and their belongings were unscathed.
However, another family did need assistance.
The Red Cross says the roof of a mobile home located on Old Franklin Highway in Hearne blew off because of the same line of thunderstorms.
The family is being placed in a hotel for the next few days, while their roof is repaired.
