Bryan Fire Fighters at Station 3 will be working out of new quarters this week. A mobile home will serve as their living space while mold is removed from a shower inside the station.
Authorities believe the mold problem is confined to that one area. Air sample results released Monday revealed no air-borne contamination anywhere else inside the station.
Fire Chief Mike Donoho said mold remediation experts are expected to arrive Wednesday to formulate a removal plan. He said, at this time, there is no estimate on what the job will cost.
Donoho expects the mold to gone and the firefighters back in the station by the end of the week.
