A joint-effort military training exercise is scheduled to take place Saturday at the TEEX Disaster City complex, and organizers say it will likely impact those who live in College Station.
College Station and Texas A&M Police will provide support for the event, which will likely take place Saturday evening.
The training exercise will include the use of military helicopters and training ammunition, so residents should be prepared for loud sounds and possible disruptions.
Safety precautions have been taken to prevent risk to the general public and the military personnel involved.
The training is not open to the public.
