Jurors In Hamilton Trial Continue Deliberations

Jurors will resume deliberations Thursday in the murder trial of a Bryan man accused of beating his neighbor to death with a shotgun.

53 year old Lee Earnest Hamilton is accused of killing 44 year old Robert Jordan.
Following closing arguments, jurors deliberated for a while Wednesday evening before being sent home.
Police say Hamilton tried to shoot Jordan, but when the shotgun didn't go off, he instead beat him with the weapon. .

If convicted, Hamilton faces up to life in prison.
