Suspect's Vehicle Description
Police are looking for a suspect in the case of a hit and run accident involving a pedestrian in College Station.
According to police, a pedestrian was crossing University Drive without utilizing a crosswalk when he was struck by a passing vehicle just before 9:00 PM. The suspect's vehicle left the scene without checking on the injured person or leaving any identifying information.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with what police call ‘incapacitating injuries’.
Evidence gathered at the scene indicate that the suspect vehicle is a newer model Dodge Durango, possibly black in color. The driver side mirror was knocked off of the vehicle and was recovered at the scene.
The pedestrian did receive a citation for failure to yield the right of way to a motor vehicle.
